Founded in 1987 by Mike LaBirt, Larry LaBirt, Larry P.Rauson, Joe Ruvolo, Ricci, and Jerry Melillo, New Generation Records is based in New Jersey and describes itself as an Indie House Music label. The label started the DJ's On Vinyl Series, which sold thousands of copies. Kevin Oliphant joined the label at a later date.
