Founded in 2003 by Mark Knight and his brother Stuart Knight, Toolroom Records is a United Kingdom-based label known for releasing House and Tech House music. Its reputation was bolstered by Mark Knight's remixes of 'Man With The Red Face' and 'You've Got The Love', and the label operates sublabels including Fool's Paradise and Toolroom Knights as well as its own radio show, Toolroom Radio, which receives over 16 million listens per week. Toolroom also runs Toolroom Academy, an educational platform offering production and DJ courses, and has expanded into live events with residencies and festival appearances worldwide. Initially distributed by Amato Distribution, the label is now distributed by N.E.W.S. after Amato's 2007 bankruptcy.
