ZACK STEINAMP’S CROSSFADE TRICK
Crossfade loops randomly per half note.
Place two audio loops in separate chains of an Audio Effect Rack, set chain selector to crossfade, map macro to chain. Assign a Max LFO (Random, sync rate 1/2) to the macro. The LFO jumps the crossfader position each half note, turning layers into a chaotic morph. Great for dub stabs or overdriven pads.
