Embassy One was founded in 2001 as an independent label based in Berlin's Kreuzberg district, releasing dance and electronic music. Founded and managed by Konrad von Löhneysen, the label changed its name in 2008 after a management buyout and counts Monolink, Moby, and Röyksopp among its artists. Embassy One is a sublabel of Embassy Of Music GmbH and also runs the sublabel Sound of Berlin.
