Founded in 2004, Guesthouse Music is an underground house label based in Oakland, California, run by producer/DJ Mes (Jason Sutton). It has released over 300 vinyl and digital records by more than 200 artists, blending old and new school sounds into chunky, funky, bass-heavy house tracks. Notable successes include Gramophonedzie's 'Why Don’t You,' which was licensed by Capitol Records and has sold 150,000 copies.
