Ulu Records, a London-based boutique label, draws its name from the Hawaiian word meaning growth and increase. Founded by Robin Michelangelo, also known as Robin M, and his manager Methe Buhl, the label releases underground house music with global influences, blending melodic and deep textures with groove driven rhythms. In 2024, it launched an event series that has taken place in London, Amsterdam, Nairobi, and Copenhagen. Its releases have topped Beatport and Traxsource charts, and the label has received support from BBC Radio 1 and 1xtra and from DJs including Black Coffee, Bedouin, and Pete Tong.
